This performance of The Hyperbolist was filmed at The Solarium in Chicago, April of this year-- starring my favorite puppet, Punctilio.
Allison Daniel-- with her inimitable intensity-- plays The Rag. Great performances from all that night. Brilliant stuff. Thanks to everyone at The Solarium
and thanks for the gracious videography by RJ Buckler.

The plastic bag
I had originally wanted to include this clip in the film segment of In Absurdum-- just after The Rag is killed by the clown-thugs, however,
it struck me as too obvious a symbol and a bit too ripe. I still like the film ending with The Rag's murder-- and the clown-thugs tossing
the "Love" sign back and forth as they leave the scene. It also gave the live performers-- myself and Allison-- a springboard to perform
the last tragic monologue of the piece. Which is ripe enough as it stands.
